About this class
How this certification works.
PALS focuses on what changes when the patient is a child: the assessment sequence, the sizes, the dosing and the physiology. The online HeartCode portion builds the cognitive foundation at your own pace.
The in-person session at the CPR Cart covers the pediatric skills check with a manikin and live feedback. Most learners complete the hands-on portion in about 30 minutes and receive an official AHA PALS Provider eCard the same day.
