About this class
How this certification works.
BLS covers the first few minutes that matter most: recognizing an emergency, calling for help, starting compressions and using an AED without hesitation. The online HeartCode portion is self-paced, so you can complete it around your shifts.
Then you come to a CPR Cart for the in-person skills check. The station measures compression rate, depth and recoil, and you get immediate feedback rather than waiting for an instructor to grade by eye.
