How this certification works.
ACLS is for healthcare professionals who need American Heart Association ACLS certification for employment or licensure. You complete the cognitive work online at your own pace, then visit a CPR Cart to run the skills on an automated manikin station.
The station gives live feedback on compressions, ventilations and rhythm response, so the skills check is measured rather than observed. Most people finish the hands-on portion in about 30 minutes, and your official AHA ACLS Provider eCard is issued the same day.
